A collection of arguments on the never-ending discussion on ornaments in architecture. Architecture is something we come across unavoidably, it is around us every day and we may have a lot of conscious/unconscious opinions about it. This book started from the question: ‘Are ornaments a disguise for the essence of a building?’ Instead of focusing on only architecture itself, the book highlights the two divergent perspectives on ornaments and let their ideas collide and connect, also in a visual sense. Creating a conversation and brining different voices together while showing their contrast. In collaboration with Madalena Mello e Faro.
